Hey there! Are you a marine engineer? A Christian? Someone who's interested in working on a ship and sail around the world? Someone who wants to go around the world and let everyone know that God loves them? Well, Doulos is looking for you. In fact, they need you. If you believe that God is calling you to go to them, please, let them know. You may just be God's answer to their prayers.

Just fill out the form I've linked to this page (click here) and you'll be sending an email to me. In that email, please include your contact details. That way, I can pass it on to Doulos and they can contact you about the job. Simple, right?

They also have other needs. You can find out more about them and their current openings for jobs here. Please spread the word.

Hey, I never really told you guys that I watched Death Note!

The movie was great! =D

If you have not read the manga and anime, this movie will definitely present itself as a mysterious and captivating plot where you just can't guess what's going to happen next! It'll definitely build up anticipation for the sequel. Yes, sequel. There will be Death Note 2!!!! =D

For those who have read the manga, or are watching the anime, you'd find this movie a little different from what you've been following but heads up for the close-enough-to-be-a-bishie version of Light and a very nicely portrayed L!!! (my favourite character!!) =D Also, with what you know from the anime and manga, you'd be able to make out small but important details that were not elaborated on in the movie. Gosh... I'd have to rate this as the best movie I've seen this semester!!!

+ finally saw that jap guy in IEP >D;; +

Was super embarassed though. I just happened to be in that class and I saw his name on a pile of homework papers. (The class was given a short break at that time). So I asked their lecturer, "Who's this?" And, well, apparently he must have been very well aware of my "fetish" for anything Japanese and immediately looked around and said "Okada~!! There's this girl who really wants to..." I hit him here before he could continue. Jap boy even said Hi back. Embarassing >.< I didn't even know he was IN THE CLASS!!! Should've said Hi back though. Damn. Was too red in the face and airy in the head to think.

Will be back tomorrow though. >D;;;;;;

+ got my first sem results +
+ am very, very pleased (PRAISE THE LORD!!!!) +

Although I can say that I was so clueless that I didn't even realise that the results would be out by today. Even when friends called to inform me about how they did. It was only when my closest friend called and asked how did I do that I realized, 'hey, how did I do?' (original? yea... thought so too).

Well, I'm very pleased if I do say so myself. Very pleased indeed. Call me, sms me, talk to me, msn me, or e-mail me (the best way) if you must know how I did. If not, just be glad for me that prayers were answered and that God was so good!

Basically, I've lost my one and only back up of everything I have. My computer ran out of space. I was supposed to get a second back up the day after but, my only copy of those files just had to go missing the day before.

You can say that I've basically lost my life long collection of blood, sweat, heart, and soul. Everything I am and everything I have poured my time into, have been lost with that missing HDD. Now, it's as though I can't function at all. I'm no longer the same "me". o.o How sad is that?

+ slaving away with reports and essays +

Ever since university started, I've accumulated 3 essays, 1 report, and many many many assignments. T______________T

March.12.2006:Sunday
+ week passed by in a day +

Except, perhaps, for that Thursday when the whole world seemed to have stopped and decided to turn its back to humanity. Too many things happened for Thursday to walk by without slowing down.

Well, waking up from a bad dream was trivial. Waking up too late to catch your usual train was sad. Witnessing a motorcycle accident from within a train station and feeling excited was horrifying. Paying for 2 cab fares in a period of one hour to get to the train station from uni was painful (waiting for the storm and all). Witnessing the aftermath of a storm was tragic. (Uprooted trees, fallen roofs and random boards, flood). Being unable to ride the ktm home after paying for two cabs was frustrating (because of flood and fallen trees in between the stations). Failing to finish a report and a presentation due on the same day was the killer of the day (they're still unfinished).

Perhaps that day happened just so I would seriously consider stopping my acts of procrastination. Perhaps.

New Favourite Dessert~

If you ever had the chance to drop by Sun & Surf of Sunway Resort Hotel, please, give their bakery and looksee. After 7 p.m. there's a 50% discount for all baked products including muffins, doughnuts, rye bread, and a wonderful array of breads whose names I can't remember. =P

Anywho, they also have cakes. Cakes and chocolates. Wonderful cakes and chocolates. Wonderful, glorious cakes and chocolate. Wonderful, glorious, scrumptious, toothsom... I think you get the point.

Which brings me back to what I had in mind in the first place. My new favourite dessert. Carusac. Chocolate Carusac. It's just called carusac. But it's chocolate. It didn't look appetizing at first, especially since it was coated with raw chocolate powder. But the moment it lands on your tongue. *.* I couldn't chew, I couldn't move, I couldn't say a word. It tastes SO GOOD!!!

Anyone dropping by Sunway soon?

Yea... It lead us to Klang alright... After passing a dark-eerie-dark-scary-dark-road, Morib, Teluk Panglima Garang, Jenjarom, Bukit Tinggi 3, and FINALLY reaching Bukit Tinggi 2 (where we had dinner).

At least it kept my mind off some things. =/

Firebird

[Firebird] Read it. It's worth every second of your time. Or in my case, a night's worth of sleep and a day's worth of work. Heh.

Yes. It's that good.

There's a perquel [North Star] and a sequel [Circle]. But they were written after Firebird. And still incomplete. Firebird's completed. They're independent of the orinating story but, there are references now and then I suppose. I'm in the middle of reading both of them; I can't just finish reading Firebird - it had to continue.

Gosh. I think I'm addicted.

That Little Candle...

     twas a candle lit,
  so light its flame,
        dim upon a candle wick,
placed not by its own will.

burning out on melting wax,
its life at the mercy of wind and breath,
         quickly dying, slowly burning,
     still a dimly lit flame.
