It's been that way for the past two days. Waiting in the hospital room with nothing but a TV, some newspapers, the Bible, and perhaps an elderly neighbour. Feeling dizzy and nauseous for almost three weeks, food does not seem appetizing at all. My dad hasn't eaten solid food since Friday afternoon. In fact, he was admitted on Monday afternoon into the hospital, as recommended by our GP, once they suspected something was amiss from his blood test.
Two days of testing and being in the hospital resulted in nothing more than getting negative test results or otherwise "normal" results. They took an MRI, an X-ray, at least 2 blood tests. No indicative results have returned. Nothing definite. Only hints of an infection, probably heart or liver problems but nothing definite.
It's disheartening.
Tonight, they moved my dad to the critical care unit only to monitor him closely. Sure, his blood pressure is high, pulse rate too high, and what else? The doctor said he was not happy and was worried if my dad's heart might tire itself out and cause daddy to collapse. I'm worried. At least the doctor has finally decided to do the blood culture to look for infections. (They should've done that last week!)
I can only hope they are able to tell what's wrong.
I want my dad to be okay. To be home with us. To be okay.

It must be very hard for you. Praying for your dad and your family.
this is the time to rely on and trust God
thank you very much for your kindness. There really isn't anything our family can do except to rely and trust God who has always been faithful to us.
